At the Catholic mission station of Doebra, about 25 kilometres north of the capital Windhoek, the foundation stone of a school for professional training in the field of agriculture has been laid. The building of the school is promoted by the Embassy in strong partnership with the Archdiocese of Windhoek, which immediately supported the plan, and is entirely financed by Rotaract Italia Clubs. “The school will be ready within the end of the year – stated Ambassador Giacomo Berutto –: this project will give more opportunities to the local population, as they will be able to find in education the key for a better life”. Satisfaction was also expressed by H.E. Most Reverend Mgr Liborius Ndumbukuti Nashenda, O.M.I., and by H.E. Ms Linda Scott, Ambassador of the Republic of Namibia to the Order of Malta.
