The annual Charity Gala in support of the charitable activities promoted and run by the Embassy of the Order of Malta to the Republic of Namibia has taken place at Villa Orlando in Torre del Lago. The event, which has now become a twice-yearly tradition, represents an important opportunity to raise funds to support the kindergarten and the soup kitchen of the “Cittadella della Misericordia”, located in the city of Rundu.

Hosting the evening was Ambassador Giacomo Berutto, who welcomed over one hundred guests, including the Ambassador of the Republic of Namibia to the Order of Malta, H.E. Linda Scott, H.E. monsignor fra’ Giovanni Scarabelli and Edoardo La Rosa, respectively Capitular and Pro-Receiverof the Grand Priory of Rome, and many fellows of the Rotary Club, who repeatedly financed project together with the Embassy and Ketuko Italia Ets.
