During his stay in Namibia, Ambassador Giacomo Berutto, accompanied by H.E. Fra’ Giovanni Scarabelli, paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, H.E. Sergio Luis Vigoa de la Uz, and his consort, Mrs Niurka Doménigo García. The diplomatic representatives discussed prospects for cooperation in the health sector in the Country, and exchanged expressions of mutual esteem.
Ambassador Berutto subsequently received courtesy visits from the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, H.E. Javier Pagalday Gastelurrutia, and from the Ambassador of Portugal, H.E. Rui Carmo. On these occasions, relations of friendship and mutual respect were reaffirmed: ambassador Berutto also outlined the activities carried out by the Order of Malta in Namibia, while assessing future opportunities for cooperation in favour of the Namibian population.
