H.E. Giacomo Berutto, Knight of Magistral Grace in Obedience, formally presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Namibia Hage Gottfried Geingob on February 20th, 2020, thus becoming the second Ambassador of the Order to the Country after Professor Marcello Bandettini, who will remain Minister Counsellor.

The highest authorities of the State were present at the ceremony which took place in the State House of the capital Windhoek, including Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila and Foreign Minister Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.

Giacomo Berutto declared he will continue on the path traced by Marcello Bandettini, cooperating with civil and religious authorities to carry out new support programmes for the local population, in particular for young people and for those in need.
